Virgin Atlantic wanted to provide their customers with the latest Sky General, Business, Entertainment and
Sports news straight to their seat-back screens on their aircraft.

| Solution |
Hyperdrive Solutions Ltd created a Windows service and user interface that monitored the Sky
databases for news content and transformed the data into XML where it was streamed to the third party
satellite upstream system. The service used a sophisticated algorithm to edit the news data into readable chunks
and monitor any journalistic edits and updates. The service also allowed the user to control the broadcast rate
of news data and although the service ran unattended, it would alert administrators of any process anomolies.
