| Toyota had an Excel based pricing system as a precursor for their Finance and
Sales systems which used some of the advanced features of Excel such as Goal
Seek. They were looking to upgrade this spreadsheet system to accommodate the
increase in the number of pricing derivatives and wanted the new system to be
fully integrated into their existing Retail Asset Management system. |

| Hyperdrive Solutions Ltd designed a secure web based pricing system which enabled
full versioning of vehicle derivatives and calculations. Using the secant
method algorithm, we were able to emulate the Excel Goal Seek functionality for
many of the what-if scenarios the finance team required. Users could edit
vehicle price builds, create new versions, publish batches of price builds to
the live financial database and perform reporting, auditing and comparisons of
various price builds. |
