| Change Management application |
| Project Requirements |
| BP required a system to ensure the outcomes of refinery process changes were
managed. For instance, in Eastern Australia a competitor made a change to a
process condition in a refinery in 2000 and caused the grounding of all light
aircraft due to contaminated fuel. BP required a change management process to
ensure this never happened to them. |
| Solution |
Hyperdrive Solutions Ltd developed a rich user interface for the Change Management
application which supported thousands of users and was fully audited and
secure. The system was designed to enable the addition of different ‘Packs’ of
investigative questions that could be included at project creation. Every
single entry was audited to ensure no overwrites could occur and projects could
only be signed off by users with authority. The Change Management application
is now a global application being used as far as Australia, USA and Europe.
This enterprise application used elements of Hyperdrive Solutions Ltd hyperCM engine
which is a unique component that enables an intelligent questioning system for use in a change management application. Each
question can lead to a different set of questions depending on the answers. The user can use a simple interface to define
the workflow for the set of questions used in each question pack. See here
for more details and how you can licence this component in your change management systems.
